Hi I am Jamila, I am a grassroots activist and I am passionate about working in the community helping the most marginalised groups. I have been volunteering for over 5 years with S.A.S. Rights. I provide advocacy and support to local women in Blackburn with Darwen and proactively reach out to communities that may not normally wish to engage with statutory agencies. I do love the walking, swimming, cooking, helping others and I am passionate about promoting positive mental health. In my day job I work in the leisure sector.
